Are you experiencing a transition in life and not performing at your best? Do you wish to improve your ability to connect with people and relate to others? Have you been experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, or imposter syndrome? Life is full of transitions such as moving to a new location, becoming a parent, divorce, starting a new job, changing careers, getting married, or losing a loved one. Navigating these changes and adjusting to new circumstances requires abilities and skills that can be developed through psychotherapy.
I’m here not only to empathically listen to you but also to provide new perspectives and tools you can use on your journey. I have been effectively helping people find themselves and direct their lives in a fulfilling direction. I’m honored to have over 10 years of experience in the diverse subdivisions of mental health. I earned my MD degree and specialized in Psychiatry in Mexico, where I am from. My passion for exploring the complexity of mental health disorders led me to work in research in the Psychiatry Department at the Mayo Clinic, where I earned a fellowship in Mood Disorders (depression, bipolar disorders, etc.). After becoming a mother, I gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of family dynamics. This inspired me to pursue and earn a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, followed by obtaining my license to practice in Ohio.
As a multicultural and bilingual person, I offer a wide and inclusive perspective. Psychotherapy is also available in Spanish. I serve adults and adolescents.
You are a step closer to a new you, where you feel at your full potential. Schedule a call—I’d love to hear your story and see how I can support you.
All are welcome!
