About

I’m Alexis Honeycutt, LMHC, NCC, a Certified Gottman Therapist specializing in marriage and couples therapy, private couples intensives, betrayal recovery, premarital work, and complex relationship challenges. I have practiced clinically since 2015 and work with couples facing entrenched conflict, emotional distance, communication breakdown, loss of trust, and important decisions about the future of their relationship.
My approach is direct, structured, and research-based, with the Gottman Method serving as a foundation for much of my couples work. I offer both ongoing couples therapy and focused couples intensives for relationships that need more concentrated time than the traditional weekly format provides.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a Gottman Educator for The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work and The Art and Science of Love, a Florida Qualified Supervisor, and an adjunct instructor at the University of Central Florida. My professional work also includes clinical supervision, counselor education, relationship education, and consultation.
In-person appointments are available in Oviedo and, by scheduled appointment, Winter Park, Florida. Virtual care is available where I am licensed to practice.
