For 3 decades I've successfully supported clients through life's inevitable transitions (graduation, relocation, marriage, divorce, pregnancy/new baby, career shift, major decisions, etc.), as well as those suffering from various forms of anxiety. I also work with couples seeking to strengthen, skill-build, & revitalize their relationship. I have lived experience with blended families and understand the complexities of parenting, partnering, and growing up in that framework. Let me help you find greater clarity regarding your own unique path forward, and achieve peace within yourself and your most cherished relationships. Nature and movement are excellent compliments to therapy. I also offer walk-and-talk, nature-informed therapy at various outdoor locations in Columbia, MD. These sessions are available year-round, weather permitting (with telehealth as a back-up modality). Unplug, reconnect, heal, and grow in a therapy setting unlike any other! Establishing trust and creating a safe working relationship is my first priority; from there, I lean heavily on experiential, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches.
