About
My approach to couples therapy is practical, compassionate and structured. I help couples slow down and better understand the patterns, emotions and underlying needs shaping their relationship, creating space for greater clarity and meaningful change. Therapy may involve strengthening and rebuilding the relationship, working through significant hurts, or helping couples gain clarity about the way forward.
My aim is not simply to teach communication skills, but to help couples understand what is happening beneath their conflict, rebuild friendship and emotional connection, manage differences more effectively, and make thoughtful decisions about the future of their relationship.
In addition to regular ongoing couples therapy, I offer extended sessions and relationship intensives for couples who would benefit from more focused, concentrated therapeutic work. For some couples, an intensive provides a valuable alternative to weekly therapy, creating dedicated time and space to explore important issues in greater depth.
Intensives are offered from my private practice near Bright, in the heart of Victoria’s beautiful High Country. Surrounded by mountains and natural beauty, the setting offers couples an opportunity to step away from everyday demands and create dedicated space to focus on their relationship.
