Amir has over 11 years of experience in providing couples, family, and individual therapy. He believes that one is the driver and they can control how they want to live; however, he understands often times family, substances, bullying, culture, depression, past trauma, anxiety, relationships, arrange marriages, ADHD, infidelity, lack of intimacy, raising children, career/employment, financial, and personal struggles can be obstacles. His objective is to work with you in becoming aware and in creating solutions, which can counterattack these obstacles. Depending on your motivation this process can be short or long. It all depends on how much you want to live a productive life. Amir provides the following types of couples therapy:
Couples Therapy for One: Change the way you feel, think and behave, so that you get what you want in your relationship.
Couples/Marriage Therapy: Learning how to communicate and understand each other better.
Marathon Therapy: 3 consecutive days of Couples therapy: Intensive therapy for Couples that need immediate/crisis help.
Premarital /Couples Therapy: Learning about each other before committing to each other.
Discernment Counseling: If one spouse is not sure they want to stay married or be in the relationship.
If you are not comfortable in the conventional psychotherapy setting, he also uses movement/walk psychotherapy(outdoor walking or outdoor exercising simultaneously with talk therapy) . He provides Virtual or In Person sessions.
