Provides online therapy
Life is challenging day to day and relationships can make that complicated as imperfect people come together to do life. My goal as a therapist is to help clients enjoy peace and joy in their own lives and relationships. My previous experience includes working with veterans, first responders, and their families. I have experience working with PTSD, depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, life transitions, and relational challenges. As a military spouse, I can relate to those feeling the brunt of diligent service to our country. My goal is to empower individuals and couples to overcome personal obstacles to improve the quality of their life and relationships by utilizing evidence-based methods.
To help clients find the healing to move forward, I utilize different methods such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is a wonderful tool to aid in the reprocessing of events trapped in the body as trauma. I am also trained in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which is a wonderful tool in treating trauma in children and adolescents. I also utilize Gottman Couples Methodology in aiding couples to find healing or cohesiveness in their marriages. My training with Moody Bible helped to build my faith and resources. I was blessed again when attending ACU, for a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. My goal is to aid those in learning fresh tools and perspectives in order to have more peace and joy throughout their lives.
