About

Anne is passionate about supporting emotional and relational wellbeing. With an emphasis on providing the best possible support, Anne has undertaken significant additional education to address a wide range of relational needs: healing after betrayal or other wounding, conflict management, emotional disconnection, loss of sexual intimacy and life changes such as early parenting transitions and empty nesting.

Anne has experienced the challenge of being in a difficult place relationally. As a result, her therapy offers insights and strengths gained through personal experience as well as through formal learning. She is the proud mother of three adult children.

Anne considers it a privilege to walk alongside others in their relationship journey and offers a warm, compassionate, non-judgmental approach. Her hope is that the support she provides enables couples to become more courageous, more caring and more connected.

Gottman method provides a solid basis for the therapy Anne offers. She also includes principles from other modalities such as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Compassion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), ERCEM and the Enneagram.

For couples where there’s ambivalence about couples therapy or the relationship, Anne offers Discernment Counselling. This process aims to provide clarity and confidence in moving forward before committing to couples therapy. Anne is happy to discuss this further if you’d like more information.
