Do you find yourself feeling disconnected from your partner? Do you often feel unheard or attacked during conflict with your partner? Or maybe there has been a betrayal of trust. These are some of issues I typically help couples address.

If you find yourself interested in couples therapy but your partner doesn't seem ready or open to the process, I also work with individual partners experiencing relationship distress who are seeking support.

When one partner is considering separation or divorce while the other is leaning into the relationship, I also provide discernment counseling services, a brief therapy that helps to address ambiguity and create clarity about next steps in the relationship.

I've completed Levels 1 & 2 of Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and I integrate research findings and interventions from the Gottman Method Institute in my work with couples. I also integrate research findings on attachment. I'm trained in EMDR, a body - based trauma therapy. So often trauma from previous relationships and life experiences can have an impact on our relationships, and I work with couples to identify triggers and create safety for partners with trauma histories.

I practice from an LGBTQIA+ and Gender affirming perspective. I provide sessions online to clients throughout Virginia, and in person in Richmond, VA.
