Welcome!
In my practice, I combine two theories with the Gottman Method: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Attachment Theory. In order to benefit from the structure and interventions the Gottman Method, I guide my clients to not only understand their spouses but also to understand themselves and what motivates their own behavior.
I've seen many clients come who say they are just like roommates rather than partners, they long for the intimacy they once had. This could be due to one big event such as infidelity or the long term effect of not addressing hurts within the marriage. It's been my joy to watch many couples regain that intimacy.
My goal is to meet you where you are and help you gain the skills necessary to get to where you want to be .. together.
My degree is in Biblical Counseling and I can offer a approach that combines Scripture with Research. I do also welcome people of all faiths. My own background in being interracially married with three young children allow me to have a unique understanding of the challenges both in combining two cultures and in raising young children.
