About
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and my hope is to create a space where you both feel comfortable, understood, and supported as you work toward the changes that matter most to you.
I completed my graduate training at Boston University, where I specialized in evidence-based treatments for anxiety, emotional disorders, and relational distress.
After graduate school, I began my career at the VA San Diego and the University of California San Diego (UCSD), providing therapy for adults and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship challenges, and life stressors. There I served as Director of the Family Mental Health Program at VA San Diego and as an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at UCSD.
In 2019, I opened the San Diego Center for Individual and Family Well-Being, A Psychology Corporation with the goal of offering thoughtful, personalized care in a more private and supportive setting. My approach combines research-supported treatments with warmth, collaboration, and genuine care for each person’s unique experiences and goals.
Whether you are building intimacy, working to repair from past hurts, and looking to mangage life transitions better as a team, I strive to help you build practical tools, deepen insight, and move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
If you have questions or would like to learn more about working together, I’d be happy to hear from you.
