Brittney P. Stanley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in couple and marital therapy. Brittney offers comprehensive, evidence-based support to couples who want to improve their lives and relationships. Brittney's approachable, collaborative style fosters thought, reflection, and growth, and allows romantic partners to explore their concerns, reflect on their desires, cultivate closeness and connection, and make lasting positive changes.
Brittney holds a B.S in Psychology, M.A. in Counseling Psychology, Executive M.A. in Healthcare Leadership from Brown University, and is pursuing a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in adult attachment and bonding. Brittney is licensed in CT and Vermont. Among her vast experience and training, Brittney has specialty training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and human sexuality and intimacy. Brittney is a Gottman Institute Approved leader and educator for the Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work and Bringing Home Baby workshops.
Brittney is experienced in working couples and relational systems of all types-- LGBTQIA+ couples, individuals in polyamorous relationship structures, and all others are welcome!
