I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), a Certified Gottman Therapist (CGT), workshop presenter and trainer, and Sexual Addiction Recovery Therapist (SRT). Please visit my website at principleskills.com for more details on each of these areas.

I run a group practice where our focus is on developing Healthy Intimacy, through Intimate Solutions. We are especially interested in helping individuals and couples recognize and develop emotional, relational, and sexual intimacy. Our clients learn to replace destructive behaviors and the avoidance of intimacies, with healthy behaviors and meaningful interactions.

I am a Certified Sexual Addiction Recovery Therapist (SRT), credentialed through the American Association of Sex Addiction Recovery Therapists (AASAT). The need for specialized methods to treat addictive patterns is on the increase in our culture. I sought out specialized training to work with couples around these issues through AASAT because of their unique integration of spiritual principles, primarily Judeo/Chrisian, in treatment, and because of the uncommon respect and support for spouses in these marriages.

I believe marriage can be a transformative experience in which we engage with God in becoming our best self, as well as an opportunity to daily learn to give and receive love as one of His children. One of the things I love about the research on marriage is that it buttresses up and reaffirms eternal Truths that have been taught throughout time and through multiple faith traditions.
