About

I am the Director of Research for The Gottman Institute and I run The Gottman Love Lab. I only offer intensive couples therapy, also known as Marathon therapy, in conjunction with The Gottman Love Lab assessment. Marathon therapy is 18 hours of therapy over the course of 3 days. Couples are my passion. I believe in using the Gottman method because it is scientifically based and proven to be helpful. I encourage, understand and support couples as they go through the emotional process of strengthening their relationship. My place is not to judge, or make decisions about the relationship, but to coach and to guide. I help couples seek solutions that work for their relationship. I use the Gottman method to thoroughly assess the relationship. This provides a clear treatment plan with achievable goals. I use Gottman interventions to guide safe, honest, meaningful conversations. I take a very active role in the therapeutic process and provide communication tools that are easy to use, both in my office and at home.
