Change is possible.
Every person deserves the right to a fulfilling life. A life in which their needs are met, they feel safe, secure, and they are able to work towards meeting their full potential. I believe that the foundation of successful therapy is a safe and trusting environment. This is facilitated by creating a relationship built on trust, compassion and communication.

Education & Training
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) in 2004 from Eastern Michigan University, where I gained experience working in legal advocacy with domestic violence and violence against women.
I earned a Master's in Social Work (MSW) in 2005 from the University of Michigan with a focus on interpersonal practice. I currently hold a license with the state of Michigan as a Masters Social Worker with a clinical speciality. I have previously held a license in the State of Ohio.
My experience spans a variety of roles within outpatient therapeutic services. In addition to providing outpatient therapy for individuals, groups, families and couples, I have served on emergency mental health response teams, assessment teams, as well as individual & group DBT teams. I also contributed to Michigan Prevents Prodromal Progression research project by providing mental health therapy to individuals with early onset psychosis.
I have specialized training in treatment methods, including DBT, CBT, ACT, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
My approach to therapy is eclectic, client centered, emotion focused, strength based and evidence based.
