I believe that couples are the beginning and the core of a healthy family. When those bonds begin to break down, so does the family unit if children are part of the equation. Couples willing to come to therapy to work on their relationship, model for the future generations, the importance of putting in the work necessary to make relationships work.
I have worked as a therapist with adults and children in the mental health/behavioral health field for many years. Couples counseling, particularly the Gottman Method, has always been an interest to me to pursue. My hope is to help couples rekindle the flame that was lost over time or acts, and to strengthen the bonds of the relationship.
