As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), my passion is helping couples navigate their toughest challenges and rediscover their connections. In our sessions together, my focus is on creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to explore and address your concerns. My approach is direct yet compassionate, and I’m here to offer practical strategies to enhance communication and strengthen your relationship.
Understanding that each relationship is unique, we’ll start our work with a thorough assessment and feedback process, which will be completed over the first three sessions. This initial phase is aligned with the Gottman Method Couple Therapy model, ensuring we gain a clear understanding of your relationship dynamics before tackling specific issues. To offer a comprehensive therapeutic experience, I often incorporate elements of the Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and Family Systems Therapy. The Gottman Method provides practical tools for improving communication and managing conflicts, IFS helps uncover deeper emotional patterns, and Family Systems Therapy can offer insights into how family dynamics impact your relationship.
My goal is to make our time together both effective and empowering, equipping you with the skills to build and maintain a healthy relationship. Whether you’re dealing with challenges like betrayal, intimacy issues, life transitions, substance use, or divorce, my trauma-informed and straightforward approach is designed to support you through these times. Ultimately, I want to help you develop the resilience and tools needed to thrive in your relationship, even beyond our sessions.
If you’re ready to take the next step, please reach out to schedule a consultation call or an initial session. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you on this journey.
