My primary approach to therapy centers on helping individuals define their core values and guiding them toward living in alignment with those values. In couples therapy, this involves assisting clients in recognizing and addressing the barriers that hinder them from treating each other with love and respect. Often, couples maintain a strong friendship at the heart of their relationship, but this connection can become overshadowed by parenting responsibilities, career demands, or other stressors. Mental health challenges, such as depression and anxiety, as well as substance abuse, can further complicate matters. I find fulfillment in helping couples reconnect and rediscover each other, utilizing the Gottman Method and a variety of resources to facilitate their journey.
