In journeying alongside you and your partner in couple therapy, I provide an empathic, caring, and science-based approach to making your relationship whole again. Finding the right therapist for your relationship is a journey in and of itself, especially if you have experienced infertility and reproductive loss. Choose a therapist who's been there. As someone who has experienced infertility and reproductive loss in my own relationship, I provide a space in therapy of empathy and safety for your story to be heard. Your story matters, and I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey towards relational wholeness. Infertility and reproductive loss can be a devastating experience, but it doesn't have to devastate your relationship. Even through the grief and the pain, I can guide you to find "your person" and journey alongside them in whatever it is that you face. I help couples turn towards one another in an active, caring, and empathic way during some one the hardest experiences imaginable. I have a PhD in counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where my dissertation research was focused on Gottman Method Couple Therapy with couples navigating infertility. My research has gained national attention, being recently featured in Forbes. If you are looking for an expert in the field of counseling couples navigating infertility, while also having a therapist who is compassionate, relatable, and down to earth, I may be the person you are looking for. I also see couples for a wide variety of issues beyond infertility and reproductive loss, including: Communication issues, family issues, addiction, and infidelity. As someone who has had 9 years experience as a school psychologist, I also offer evaluations for children age 6 to 17, as well as individual therapy for children age 10 and up, and individual therapy for adults.
