About

Helping couples recover, repair, and rebuild their relationship has always been a passion of mine. It is so gratifying to see couples heal wounds, connect with and understand each other more deeply, have conflict that is more productive, feel more alive, and find greater happiness with each other and within themselves.

Beginning my training in a Child Clinical PhD program, I recognized the profound impact of parental harmony on children's mental well-being. This insight led me to specialize in family therapy and to studying marriages and intimate dynamics, building on John Gottman's pioneering work from the 1980s. This research emphasizes the value of meticulous observation, comprehensive data collection, and couples' insights to decode relationship complexities.

Services offered: In addition to weekly couples therapy with 90-minute sessions, I offer a distinctive Marathon couples' therapy experience. This intensive approach compresses 21 hours of therapy into three days, offering an immersive environment to solve specific issues and acquire (and practice) essential relationship skills.

Having been certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy since 2003, I take pride in being among the early adopters of this impactful approach. My journey included the privilege of engaging in intimate small group discussions with John Gottman himself, delving into research insights, and receiving clinical guidance from Julie Gottman.

Additionally, I am a certified leader of "The Art and Science of Love" and "7-Principles to Make Marriage Work" programs.

Excitingly, I'm now PsyPact-approved to deliver telehealth psychological services across 39 states. This expansion facilitates remote support, transcending geographical boundaries for stronger, healthier relationships.

Thank you for considering me as your guide as you journey towards a more fulfilling and enriching intimate partnership. I'm eager to collaborate on your journey.
