About

Many couples come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to change—having the same arguments, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or growing distant from one another despite caring deeply about the relationship. Past experiences, both individual and relational, can continue to influence how partners communicate, respond to stress, and feel emotionally safe together. Over time, this can become exhausting and leave couples feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or unsure how to move forward.

Couples therapy offers a space to slow things down and create meaningful change. With support, partners can begin to feel more grounded, understood, and emotionally connected. Therapy can help reduce conflict, strengthen communication, and rebuild a sense of trust and safety, allowing couples to move out of survival mode and back into connection.

I offer a compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to couple's therapy. My role is to create a warm, supportive space where both partners feel heard and respected, and where patterns can be explored with curiosity rather than blame. Together, we work to understand what lies beneath conflict or disconnection, including the emotional experiences and nervous system responses that keep these patterns in place.

My work is informed by the Gottman Method, an evidence-based approach that helps couples strengthen their relationship by deepening emotional connection, improving communication, and repairing moments of disconnection. In therapy, we focus on building friendship and trust, developing practical tools for navigating conflict, and helping both partners feel more secure and supported in the relationship.
