About

As a child I grew up in the heart of Los Angeles. I was brought up in the diamond + marriage industry, & have always been fascinated by romantic relationships. My parents were the epitome of "Couples Goals." However, I could not understand why my relationships never reflected theirs. As I entered therapy at 13, I started to explore my low self-esteem & learned how to love myself. In my personal growth through continued therapy, & fully embracing my passion as a couples + relational therapist, I understand how necessary it is to practice self-love in order to have functional and sustainable relationships. It is essential to take care of the self in order to take care of others.
In my training and research, I've learned positive relationships increase the quality of life, whereas negative relationships decrease life expectancy. However, many do not know how to foster healthy relationships and tend to repeat unhealthy patterns. Fortunately, therapeutic exploration can be done, emotional wounds can be healed. Communication skills can be gleaned through therapy in order to facilitate healthy, thriving relationships. I am passionate in the art of couples therapy, as well as trained in primary relational issues such as marriage and couples issues, familial dynamics, parenting, divorce, and blended family dynamics.
I work through a humanistic, attachment based, & trauma informed lens to advocate for those who feel stuck within themselves & within their relationships. Together we can build self-compassion, communication skills, and shift dysfunctional dynamics towards sustainable & flourishing relationships.
My Masters level training in Art Therapy & background in philosophy + creative arts, make me more attuned to alternative styles of communication, including visual, and kinesthetic to allow for fuller communication in those times where words fall short of expressing the full picture. This is especially relevant for my couples and singles who identify as neurodiverse.
