To Couples in Distress:
Are you experiencing broken trust, losing hope and/or trying to recover from an affair? When couples barely hold on to hope it’s a frightening state to be in.
Couples often call me in despair, scared and worried about their relationship, commitment, their connection and future. No matter how upset or how troubled your relationship is, you can turn it around if you know how to create meaningful conversation and changes that matters.
Investing in spending more time and energy in couple therapy initially can jump start your recovery process and recreate your connection.
In my experience couples achieve better and quicker results when grouping therapy sessions more often initially or consider intensive “marathon” therapy at the start of the process.
Just a few lines about me:
After completing my psychodynamic training in Slovakia, I got my MSW degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. I completed my post graduate training at Johns Hopkins Medical Center, where I accepted a position at the Department of Psychiatry. During my practice at Hopkins I worked and received training in treating trauma, which influenced me in my decision to help couples recover from attachment trauma such as loss of trust and infidelity.
I’m very skilled and interested in helping couples who experience attachment injuries and are trying to create safe and secure connections to heal broken bonds.
Please feel to contact me for more information, to schedule your initial appointment or to schedule an intensive 1 day (5 hours long) or 2 days (total of 10 hours) therapy session.
