About

Do you want to create new and improved ways to communicate with each other? You are not alone. Often my clients say, "We just don't know how to talk to each other in an understanding and problem-solving way". "Would you help us find a different way to discuss our issues?" I am a therapist who can help you talk about the sticky places in your relationship and teach you new ways of discussing issues rather than resorting to unhappy interactions. If you are a couple dealing with the devastation of infidelity in your marriage, you need a caring, experienced guide through this difficult time.

I am now certified by The Gottman Institute, the premier marriage and couples' research and clinical skills institute nationally and globally. This allows me to take your marriage counseling experience to a richer and deeper level, teaching you skills to enhance your communication and your love.

I am a seasoned North Carolina Marriage and Family Therapist in the Charlotte, NC-Lake Norman area, with over 25 years experience talking daily with couples through the ups and downs of their marriages. I am a member of American Association of Christian Counselors and Smart Marriage Coalition. I also maintain an on-line presence as "Anniversary Keeper".

I specialize in Marital/Couple's Therapy, Communication Issues, Couple Conflict Problem Solving, Premarital Counseling, Couple's Recovery from Infidelity. In addition, I help those who experience Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Divorce/Separation, and Family Crisis.
