She holds an Honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy along with specialist training in Couples Therapy and is a registered Clinical Member of PACFA - the Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia.
Deborah is a warm, skilled therapist of over 19 years and has been specialising in the Gottman Method of Couples Counselling for 7 years. She is passionate about helping couples achieve positive change in their relationship and the tools to ensure this is long-lasting.
She provides a safe, collaborative and nonjudgmental environment that helps people feel comfortable about opening up and exploring their concerns. She respects the diverse life experience of each person and tailors counselling to meet the unique needs and goals of the couple.
Deborah uses an integrative, client-centred approach along with a number of evidence-based techniques in her work. She has a special interest and expertise in working with Relationship Issues with couples as well as Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Trauma, Grief, Chronic Health and Women's Health Issues.
