About
With over 30 years of clinical experience and more than 15 years practicing the research-based Gottman Method, I bring depth, precision, and heart to couples therapy. As a Certified Gottman Therapist, I work exclusively with couples who want meaningful, lasting change—not surface-level conversations that go nowhere.
My work is active, structured, and collaborative. I don’t simply listen and nod; I help couples understand what’s happening beneath their conflict and give them clear, practical tools to change it. Sessions are focused, engaging, and goal-oriented, with ongoing feedback so couples can see real progress.
I specialize in working with couples navigating:
Infidelity and betrayal
Chronic conflict and emotional disconnection
Trust repair and recovery
Substance use and its impact on relationships
Trauma histories affecting intimacy
Complex family and relational dynamics
My background in substance abuse treatment, trauma therapy, and child and family mental health allows me to skillfully integrate these layers into couples work—especially when relationships feel stuck, painful, or overwhelming.
I welcome couples of all identities and configurations, including LGBTQ+ couples and those defining partnership in their own way. Culture, family history, and lived experience matter deeply in how relationships function, and I approach each couple with respect for their unique story.
I offer weekday sessions (7 AM–5 PM) and work with couples who are ready to engage thoughtfully and actively in the process. If you are looking for a seasoned therapist who combines warmth with direction—and evidence-based strategies with deep relational understanding—I would be honored to work with you.
