About
I am Devanshi Verma, Associate Therapist with The Couple Wellness Experts (MSW, RSW, PhD in Management, CHRL-Human Resources). I specialize in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and work with couples who are longing to feel close again, communicate more effectively, and rebuild trust in their relationship.
Whether you are preparing for marriage, navigating long-term commitment, healing after betrayal, or managing the pressures of career and family life, I provide a calm, respectful space where both partners feel heard and valued.
Many couples seek support when they feel stuck in recurring conflict, emotional distance, or gridlocked conversations that never seem to resolve. Others come during major life transitions, stress, burnout, or trust concerns that have quietly impacted their connection.
In our work together, we focus on strengthening friendship, deepening emotional understanding, and creating practical tools for healthier communication and conflict management.
My approach is grounded in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2). Using research-based assessments and structured interventions, I help couples reduce negativity, increase appreciation, manage conflict constructively, and rebuild trust after hurt. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to support awareness of thought patterns that influence emotional responses and relationship dynamics.
With a background in academic leadership, management, and career coaching, I understand the unique pressures faced by high-achieving and dual-career couples. I am especially attuned to how professional stress, responsibility, and ambition can shape intimacy at home.
I believe relationships thrive when partners feel emotionally safe enough to turn toward one another rather than away. It is a privilege to support couples as they rediscover connection, strengthen trust, and build a partnership that feels secure, resilient, and meaningful.
