Dr. Diana Wright is a Clinical Psychologist with an extensive background working in the area of human behavior. She brings over 30 years experience as a therapist to the individuals, couples, and families she serves.
Dr. Wright received her under-graduate degree at the University of California, Irvine, in Human Behavior and Criminal Justice in 1981. A Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work was attained two years later at San Diego State University. As a Licensed, Clinical Social Worker, Dr. Wright worked with children, adolescents, couples, and families in a variety of settings addressing a complete spectrum of issues.
Dr. Wright returned to school in the early 1990's to obtain her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, completed in 1996. Dr. Wright has been certified in Mind-Body medicine by the Mind-Body Institute, of the Beth-Israel Hospital, the clinical teaching arm of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Wright began training with Drs. John and Julie Gottman of the Gottman Institute, Seattle WA, in 2005. In 2011, she completed all requirements for certification in order to be designated as the first, and only, Certified Gottman Couples Therapist in Northern Nevada.
