Are you married, but questioning everything? Is your spouse emotionally checked out? Have you been cheated on? Are you unsure about whether your relationship is even worth fighting for?
My priority is building trust and comfort with couples and helping them pinpoint the root of their problems to develop new paradigms that can take the relationship to places it may have never previously been. My clients are intelligent, married, working professionals, who appreciate that I'm not afraid to help them explore both possible roads - of either saving their marriage, or safely exploring whether divorce would actually be a better option.
Since you cannot fix a relationship until you first heal the pain & wounds, I use the proven Gottman Method (which includes an in-depth interview and computerized assessment), and implement a plan to first start the healing, validation and new communication tools. Only after the healing has begun can a couple start to rebuild the trust, excitement & love.
As a rabbi, I employ my pastoral training and high levels of empathy and compassion. I have extensive training and experience working with families in crisis. As someone who was called in to work with victims of the shootings in Parkland and Pittsburgh, I can quickly enter a difficult dynamic and bring a sense of healing and calm.
Since my focus is on efficiency and results, I strive to map out a custom path to reaching your goals most quickly. Therefore, in addition to seeing clients in my office, I offer sessions in-home, by phone/video conference, as well as fast-tracked marathon therapy.
