Helping couples is my passion and specialty! Online Sessions Available.
- Are you married, but feeling lonely?
- Is your spouse emotionally checked out?
- Are you unsure whether your relationship is even worth fighting for? - Have you been cheated on?
- Do you find that you’re fighting more than you’re talking?
This is where I use 40+ years of scientific research by Dr. John Gottman to help couples completely rebuild their love. My clients are intelligent, married, working professionals, who appreciate that I can pinpoint the underlying areas that need work and map out a plan to help them get there. (These may include trust, commitment, conflict, trauma, intimacy & more).
Since you cannot fix a relationship until you first heal the pain & wounds, I use the proven Gottman Method (which includes an in-depth interview and computerized assessment), and implement a plan to first start the healing, validation and new communication tools. Only after the healing has begun can a couple start to rebuild the trust, excitement & love.
In addition to my Masters and Phd in social work, I am an ordained rabbi, who utilizes my emphatic pastoral training and high levels of kindness and compassion. I am also a keynote speaker, professor of social work, and author of The Kidney Donor's Journey and The Ultimate Relationship Workbook for Couples.
With the highest level of certification directly from the Gottman Institute, I am blessed to have a busy practice, but strive to accommodate couple's schedules on nights/weekends. In addition to seeing couples in my office, I offer HIPPA-compliant video conferencing, as well as fast-tracked intensive marathon therapy, where we can tackle 6 months of therapy with one or two weeks.
