ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS....When your relationship isn't functioning well, it's hard to enjoy the rest of your life. My goal is to renew peace by restoring the harmony in your relationship. I work exclusively with couples so that I can do it well. From my own marriage, I know the results pay off when the work is put in.

My approach to couples therapy is not about blame. but creating a culture of mutual understanding, empathy, and action. To accomplish this I use evidence-based treatment methods that combine empathic dialogue & critical tools. The Gottman Method can reveal a relationship's highest potential. I also integrate other clinically sound models as needed, such as Imago Therapy and attachment/ neuroscience.

I enjoy working with all stages of relationship from tune-up to "not sure if we want to stay married." Affairs and other significant betrayals don't scare me. Often, there are multiple layers of hurts to sift through and heal. I also offer Discernment Counseling, when one partner wants to leave a marriage and the other wants to stay, and counseling for Conscious Uncoupling.

I believe we can't be healthy partners if we aren't healthy individuals. Thus, I may make recommendations for individual work and my background in psychopharmacology, EMDR / trauma-informed interventions, treating anxiety, depression/ mood disorders comes in handy.

Recent feedback after a FIRST session includes: "I know much more about my relationship than I did 80 min ago" & "That was deeply moving." My presence is described as warm, engaging, and safe.
