About

- Hi, I'm Liz -

I am an Advanced Gottman Clinical Trainer and Consultant, Certified Gottman Therapist, Psychologist.

I am interested in relationships and how relationships have and continue to affect us as individuals. I love working with couples as they develop better patterns of conflict management and connection. As a secondary path, I also love supporting individuals as they become more self aware through what’s revealed of them (by the experience of their partner) within the couples therapy process.

Since meeting my husband and having children, the psychology of relationships has gained my attention. When I was pregnant with our second child, I started formally training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy so that I too could have the best tools for communicating within my marriage under the pressures of parenting, a goal shared by the many parents I work with in therapy. My husband has completed Gottman training and is a Seven Principles Workshop Leader and we have many shared goals in collaborating together with the Gottman model - both at home and professionally!

I am the creator of Parenting as a Team, and The Couple and the Child Clinical Training.
