Elizabeth Williamson is a caring, skilful counsellor with over 30 years’ experience working with couples, families and individual clients of all ages. She is an experienced couples’ therapist who helps clients to repair and renew their relationship. Couples learn how to reduce the impact of devastating conflicts by letting go of past experiences, instead focusing on creating a satisfying, intimate relationship that brings out the best in both partners.

Elizabeth is passionate about helping her clients to better understand themselves and their relationships. She provides personalised, practical solutions to transform problems into opportunities for growth and lasting change. Elizabeth has a warm, person-centred and nonjudgmental counselling approach which creates a safe, supportive atmosphere for people to explore their concerns. She helps her clients with practical skills to build confidence, develop their personal strengths, and be open to fresh possibilities.

Elizabeth tailors her counselling to meet each client’s needs and get to the heart of what really matters. Elizabeth is also an experienced mediator who has coached and provided training for managers, team leaders and staff to better manage conflict and difficult relationships at work. She has facilitated complex workplace mediations for major banks, business, government departments and NGOs.

Her professional background includes counselling in community health centres, grief and loss services, child and youth health, parenting programs, domestic violence services, employee assistance programs and private practice. Elizabeth has had leadership roles in community development, collaborative programs, domestic violence services, and Vietnam veteran programs.
