Emily is a provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Yoga Instructor. Emily's first priority with couples is collaboratively cultivating a safe space in the counseling room for each partner. With a foundation of safety, partners new ways to connect, feel heard and respected, and move past gridlocks.
She has experience with anxiety, depression, bipolar, traumatic experiences, PTSD, life transitions, grief and loss, and relationship issues including parenting, family, and intimate partnerships.
She draws from from a variety of evidence-based practices (Gottman Method Couples Therapy, attachment, somatic, person-centered, mindfulness-based, existential, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral) and adjust to best fit your needs.
