We are social beings and modern-day relationships, at times, are just plain hard. Many of us were not taught effective communication as children and learning how to navigate communication, learn more emotional intelligence, and connect with others can be a challenge. All relationships matter, whether you are in a relationship with a spouse or partner, child, parent, friend, or coworker, it is essential to connect, navigate conflict and grow together. While I work primarily with couples using the Gottman Method, I have also learned how to integrate the Gottman Method in helping my clients develop important skills to navigate other meaningful relationships, such as the relationship with kids, family, friends, or colleagues. I take an active role as a therapist, working collaboratively with each client to meet their needs and the relationship goals they set for themselves and with their partner. I work to create a safe and trusting environment for each person involved in the therapeutic process. I have experience with a wide variety of couples’ issues, including but not limited to, infidelity, divorce, coparenting, addiction, intimacy. I also have experience with premarital counseling and enriching long term relationships that have grown apart. I am currently accepting clients, both in person and virtually. If you think I would be a good fit for you, please call me for a free 15-minute consultation.
