Evenings and Saturdays
Relationships can be wonderful, stressful and incredibly confusing. Most individuals and couples will experience a relationship crisis during a lifetime. Whether that crisis is about infidelity, work, raising children, money or how to communicate, getting back on track can be overwhelming. The good news is that many relationship difficulties are fixable.
Having a trusted provider to help manage conflict, build skills and get back on track is one of the most valuable investments you can make. It can also make the journey back to connection faster and less exhausting. I have practiced couple therapy for over a decade and am trained with Gottman, the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy, the Couples Institute, Michele Weiner Davis. Couple Therapy is my area of clinical specialty. My style is practical, empathetic and goal oriented.
I work with couples who are preparing to marry, couples in crisis looking to rebuild their relationship and others who are seeking to separate amicably.
I work with individuals to improve their relationships when a partner is unwilling to attend therapy. I also treat individuals who are struggling to form intimate relationships due to trauma.
A California native, I spent a decade in Latin America where I worked, married and started my family. As such, I have both a personal and processional interest in bi-cultural relationships. I am bilingual English/Spanish speaking and have two teenage children with my Peruvian husband of twenty years.
Therapy is a significant investment of time, energy and money. I offer a free telephone consultation to see if we are a good fit. You can reach me at the number listed above or by going to my website: www.occouplescenter.com to book online.
I look forward to supporting your important relationship goals.
