Are you considering making a couples therapy appointment? Are you unsure, unsettled or even scared? I totally understand and I can help. Making that first call to speak to a therapist can be daunting and down-right scary. I strive to make your inital therapy experience as "painless" as possible.

My clinical focus and area of passion is working with Couples. I utilize the Gottman Model approach for Couples Therapy. I have completed the Gottman Clinician Level 1, 2 and 3 trainings. I am currently working toward certification as a Gottma Certified therapist. Gottman Method therapy is researched based and proven to provide you with the tools you need to leave therapy and never again relapse into the "same ol' thing". Through an in-depth four session assessment process I provide you with a detailed, concrete take-home summary of your particular relationship strengths and areas of weakness. We'll use this in- depth information to formulate a treatment plan that quickly targets your areas of need rather than wasting time and money working an unstructured weekly "complaint" sessions. Heather Rousselo is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist practicing in Santa Clarita, California since 2007. Heather offers in person and online/virtual couples therapy. Heather is a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and is a certified Gottman Seven Principles and Bringing Baby Home Program Educator.
