Heidi A. Sauder, received her Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology with advanced studies and research, in collaboration with John M. Gottman, Ph.D., investigating the role of emotions and physiological response in marital interaction.
As a clinical psychologist and certified sex therapist, she sees couples with sexual health concerns including discrepant desire, painful intercourse, and maintaining a satisfying sexual life. Dr. Sauder helps partners transition their sexual life during times of illness, after becoming parents, and as they age.
In addition to sexual health concerns, Dr. Sauder sees couples questioning if their relationship is salvageable and partners who are separated, or in the process of divorce.
Couples who reside in AZ, CA, CO, DC, DE, GA, IL, MA, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, OK, TX, UT, PA, VA, NJ, NC, and any other current PSYPACT state are eligible to utilize telehealth.
Dr. Sauder currently is accepting couples for intensive two- or three-day sessions with the option of follow up therapy as needed.
Heidi A. Sauder, PhD, owns a group therapy practice in Centennial, CO and consults with her clinicians at Enrich Relationship Center weekly on their work with couples. She also facilitates a monthly consultation group for clinicians who are dedicated to providing excellence in care.
Dr. Sauder is a Gottman Art & Science of Love, Seven Principles, and Bringing Baby Home Program Educator and is a Certified Gottman Method Couples Therapist.
