Holly Tickle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Couples Therapy. Holly works with couples who are recovering from affairs or who are dealing with destructive conflict and helps them to find healthier ways to communicate and to heal their relationship.
Having served as an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church for twenty five years before becoming a Licensed MFT, Holly has spent many hours working with couples, individuals and families who are experiencing difficult life situations. She is sensitive to people of all faiths and backgrounds. People come to Holly when they feel hopeless in their relationship, when they are considering divorce or separation, when they have shut down communication.
Using the Gottman Assessment to begin to look at what is happening in your relationship, Holly will create a plan to help you and your partner move toward repairing your relationship. Holly will carefully listen to each of you and help you to listen to one another. She will teach relationship skills and offer exercises that you can practice at home.
Holly loves to work with premarital couples and offers a series of counseling topics specific to new marriage. She offers grief therapy for those who have lost a loved one. She also sees individuals dealing with anxiety or depression.
Holly is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). She has received Level Two training in the Gottman Method. She also integrates Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused Therapy, Harville Hendrix's Imago Therapy, Dan Wiles' Collaborative Couples Therapy, and Brene' Brown's teachings into her therapy. Holly offers you a safe and caring therapeutic environment. She welcomes you to contact her with any questions you may have.
