About
Most couples who reach out to me aren’t coming in for a relationship “tune-up.” They’re coming in because something doesn’t feel right anymore, and they don’t know how to fix it.
Maybe trust has been damaged. Maybe you keep having the same fight over and over again. Maybe things have gone quiet and distant in a way that’s starting to feel scary. Most couples have tried to talk about it on their own many times before they ever walk into therapy.
I’m trained in the Gottman Method, and I work in a steady, practical way. We slow things down and really look at what’s happening between you — not just who’s upset or who’s “right,” but the patterns the two of you get pulled into and why they keep happening. From there, we focus on what actually needs to change if the relationship is going to heal and feel different.
Some couples come in after an affair. Others are dealing with years of built-up resentment, constant conflict, or the quiet question in the back of their mind: “Are we going to make it?” There’s no pressure to rush big decisions. The work is about understanding what’s happened, rebuilding safety where it’s possible, and getting clarity about what comes next.
If you decide to reach out, we’ll start with a first session where I get to understand your story and what’s been hurting in the relationship. From there, we’ll make a clear plan for the work ahead so you’re not just coming to sessions and hoping things somehow get better.
