About

I help clients who are struggling with problem solving, connection, and communication in their relationship by implementing the principles connected to having a sound relationship. I help people have the experience of feeling understood in session by their partner. After creating greater understanding, I help client's learn how to problem solve in a way that honors each other's dreams. I help clients practice the skills necessary to make a relationship flourish. The therapeutic process is diadic, with the clients doing the work together and therapist guiding or "coaching" from the sideline. In this way, clients learn how to replace old unhelpful behvaiors with new healthy ones, which they can take out of session into their daily lives. The Gottman's and their research supports the view of this process taking roughly eleven sessions.
