I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) practicing in Bluffton, SC. In addition to being a Level 3 Gottman Therapist, I am a Sex Addiction Therapist(SRT), a Partners Recovery Therapist (PRT), and an Intimacy Anorexia Therapist (IAT) certified through The American Association of Sex Addiction Therapists (AASAT). I specialize in treating couples who have what I call complicated marriages. Complicated marriages include but are not limited to the experiences associated with infidelity, sex addiction, porn addiction and intimacy disorders. My clients learn to build trust and intimacy by replacing negative behaviors with positive interactions that enhance friendship, communication and shared dreams.

In addition to the required Master's Degree and SC state licensing requirements, I have invested hundreds of hours above and beyond the education and training accomplished by the average general counselor to treat complicated marriages. The research based Gottman Method is the gold standard of all marriage counseling and together with the Partner's Recovery Model (AASAT), I offer my clients the best possible treatments and hope for recovery.
