About

Many couples reach out when communication breaks down, trust has been damaged, or the same painful arguments keep repeating. Some are unsure whether their relationship can be repaired, while others feel stuck between wanting change and wondering if it’s too late.

Over time, partners may begin to feel distant, discouraged, or unsure how to reconnect with the person they once felt closest to.

My work with couples is grounded in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach that provides practical tools for improving communication, rebuilding trust, and strengthening friendship within relationships. I also integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to deepen emotional understanding and attachment security.

In our work together, we slow down the patterns that keep couples feeling stuck. We explore what is happening beneath the surface of conflict, identify cycles that create distance, and begin building new ways of responding with greater understanding and care.

Many of the couples I work with are recovering from breaches of trust, including infidelity, secrecy, or other relationship injuries that have deeply impacted the connection between partners.

I work with couples navigating relationship distress, infidelity and betrayal, life transitions, and emotional disconnection. For couples uncertain about the future of their relationship, I offer Discernment Counseling, a structured process designed to help partners on the brink of divorce gain clarity about next steps. I also provide Two-Day Couples Intensives for those seeking focused support when weekly therapy has not created enough momentum.

Couples who tend to benefit most from this work are those willing to look honestly at their patterns, take responsibility for their part in the relationship dynamic, and stay curious about how change can happen.

In addition to couples therapy, I also work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions.
