I am passionate about helping individuals feel heard, seen and understood in their relationships. Sessions will focus on fostering empathy, managing conflict and working to understand one another more deeply. I work with couples on a variety of issues including arguing and conflict, distance and loneliness, difficulty communicating and issues with intimacy. In addition to Gottman Method Couples Therapy, I have expertise in family systems, psychodynamic (insight-oriented) therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I completed my master's degree in social work at Columbia University and my bachelor's degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Since then, I've advanced my training with the Gottman Institute, Beck Institute, Munuchin Center for the Family, Bryn Mawr College and the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. If you are interested in learning more about my background or approach, please visit my website at www.jenniferdenholm.com or contact me to schedule a phone consult.
