About
I am passionate about helping individuals feel heard, seen and understood in their relationships. Sessions will focus on strengthening empathy, navigating conflict more effectively and developing a deeper understanding of one another's needs and experiences.
In addition to Gottman Method Couples Therapy, I have expertise in family systems, psychodynamic (insight-oriented) therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), allowing me to tailor treatment to each couple’s unique dynamics and goals. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University and my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. I have pursued advanced training through the Gottman Institute, the Beck Institute, the Minuchin Center for the Family, Bryn Mawr College, and the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia, where I currently serve as a faculty member for therapists in training. If you are interested in learning more about my background or approach, please visit my website at www.jenniferdenholm.com or contact me to schedule a phone consultation.
