About
What makes relationships work well, versus not-so-well? I have been fascinated with relationships for many years, and was drawn to the Gottman Method because it is based upon extensive longitudinaI research with thousands of couples. I work with couples going through a variety of challenges. It can be very powerful to work with a neutral third party helping each of you understand yourselves and your partner better.
We start with the structured assessment process that is a hallmark of the Gottman Method. I then help facilitate the process of improving skills at talking with each other about difficult issues.
I offer online therapy, using Zoom's secure video-conferencing system, to clients who are residents of Colorado (where I am licensed).
A member of the Financial Therapy Association, one of my specialties is financial therapy. Financial therapy can be explained as “a relationship-oriented approach to optimal money management.” Financial issues are often cited as the number one stressor for couples, and learning new ways to have better conversations about differences in financial values and priorities can be very helpful.
