As a therapist, I consider it a tremendous privilege to meet you where you are and be a part of your journey of discovery and healing. I work to create a collaborative, practical approach to achieving more peace and well-being by focusing on skills to increase effective communication, conflict management, and regain a sense of connection and friendship.. We may also address your past to gain an understanding of your current self, shedding light on patterns and beliefs that may no longer serve you well and affect your relationship with your own emotions and others. Effective communication can enable conflict to be an opportunity for you, and those with whom you have relationships, to gain more understanding of each other and become closer.

I work with both couples and individuals. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic models including Gottman Method Couples Therapy, EMDR, CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic therapy and others, based on what fits your needs.

My clients are concerned with a variety of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, difficult family of origin experiences, communication and conflict, life goals and values, body image, self-esteem, emotional regulation, spirituality, and finding more meaning in life.

I am a licensed professional counselor in Texas and am located in Austin. I graduated with my Masters of Arts in Counseling from Northwestern University. I am also EMDR trained.
