About
Our earliest relationships shape how we see ourselves and connect with others. Do you put others' needs before your own, feel guilty setting boundaries, or struggle with family expectations? Perhaps you're noticing recurring relationship patterns, feeling disconnected from your partner, or trying to better understand your child's emotional needs. For many Asian Americans, these struggles can be intertwined with cultural values, unspoken expectations, and patterns passed down through generations. You may feel torn between honoring your family's traditions and making space for your own needs, identity, and relationships.
I specialize in supporting the AAPI community in navigating intergenerational trauma, cultural expectations, and relationship challenges. Drawing from attachment-based approaches such as EFT and trauma-focused therapies like EMDR, I help clients process past experiences, understand recurring patterns, and build healthier connections.
Healing doesn't have to mean leaving behind your family, culture, or the values that matter to you. It can mean understanding what has shaped you, choosing what to carry forward, and making space for something different. You don't have to navigate this alone. I'd be honored to hear your story and invite you to reach out so we can explore working together.
