Your relationship is different from what you imagined it when you said “I do”. You miss your best friend. The respect and laughter you once shared is now a distant memory. You no longer feel connected emotionally, and your sex life has not been any more infrequent or boring. You sleep next to each other but have never felt so far away. You are both willing to do the work, but any amount of change is scary.
Many people worry about starting couples counseling. They believe that they should be able to handle issues on their own. But what happens when you get stuck? What happens when your normal ways of handling conflict are not working anymore? Working through normal issues such as conflict can help you and your partner have a stronger relationship with the right support.
Don’t worry, we got this. Couples are my favorite. I use Gottman’s research on what helps keep relationships strong. With our work together you will achieve the results you both want. My job is to help you both learn how to manage conflict, work through betrayals, gain tools to repair old hurts, build dreams for their future, and have better physical and emotional intimacy.
I get it, talking to a stranger about your business let alone marriage, is SUPER awkward. Before you decide to work with me, I would love to do a 15- minute consultation with you and your partner to make sure we are a great fit. I am transparent, honest, lighthearted and compassionate. I will not judge your situation and I will never pick sides.
Please call, text or email to schedule anytime. My office is completely online, and convenient for busy lifestyles. **Now offering marathon and 90 minute sessions for quicker results**
