I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been counseling couples and families for 35 years. My basic training is Family Systems Theory, Gottman Method Couples Counseling and Emotional Focused Therapy for Couples (Sue Johnson). I also offer individual psychotherapy.

In addition to working with couples in crisis, I also specialize working with infidelity issues, couple sexuality and with couples "on the brink" of divorce--discernment counseling--which you can also read about on my website: Couples on the Brink. Discernment counseling involves working with couples when divorce is being seriously considered by one or both partners to determine if divorce is absolutely the only course of action.
