About

Do you and your partner keep having the same argument over and over again, leaving both of you feeling unheard or misunderstood? Many couples come to therapy feeling stuck in painful patterns, unsure how to communicate without things escalating, and worried that the distance between them is growing.

Beneath the conflict is often something much more vulnerable—a longing to feel understood, valued, and securely connected.

As a therapist trained in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, I help couples understand the research-backed patterns that strengthen or erode relationships. Together we work on improving communication, managing conflict more effectively, rebuilding trust, and increasing emotional and physical intimacy. Couples learn practical tools to “fight right,” reduce reactivity, and move toward more respectful and productive conversations.

I also integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy, which helps partners slow down and explore the emotions beneath their reactions. When we understand what’s happening underneath anger, withdrawal, or defensiveness, meaningful change becomes possible. Conflict becomes less about winning and more about understanding.

Many couples seek therapy at a turning point—when they feel disconnected, caught in recurring conflict, or unsure how to move forward. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin responding to each other in new ways.

My role is to help partners recognize their impact on one another, strengthen their bond, and become active agents of change in their relationship. Sessions are collaborative and grounded in compassion, with structure when helpful. My goal is not only to reduce conflict but to help couples build a relationship where both partners feel secure, understood, and deeply connected.
